Ustka to miasto nad samym morzem Bałtyckim (ponad 16.000 mieszkańców) u ujścia rzeki Słupi. W XIV w. istniała w tym miejscu warownia i port. Ustka była wówczas w rekach Krzyżaków, dopiero składka społeczności Słupska i okolic pozwoliła wykupić się z rąk krzyżackich. Miejscowość nosiła wtedy nazwę Stolpmünde, czyli Ujście Słupi. W XIV w. rozbudowano port. Pod koniec XVIII w. mieszkało tu już ponad 700 osób. Dzięki budowie kolei do II WŚ liczba ludności zwiększyła się do 5500 osób, ale po wojnie zostało tu tylko 266 Polaków. Obecnie miasto jest jednym z większych portów w tej części wybrzeża, uzdrowiskiem i ośrodkiem turystycznym.

Ustka is a city on the Baltic sea (over 16,000 inhabitants) at the mouth of the river Słupia. In the XIV century there was a fortress and port in this place. Ustka was in the hands of the Teutonic Knights, but the contribution of Slupsk and surrounding communities helped to redeem it from the Teutonic Knights. City bore the name Stolpmünde then, which means 'the mouth of Słupia'. In the XIV century, they expanded the port. At the end of the XVIII century, there lived over 700 people. Along with the construction of railways to the times of Second World War, the population had increased up to 5500 people, but after the war there were only 266 Poles left. Currently, the city is one of the major ports in this part of the coast, spa resort and tourist center.
