Atsipopoulo to mała miejscowość na Krecie, niedaleko jednego z głównych miast wyspy, Rethymnon. Do XVII w. mieszkali tu Wenecjanie, dlatego architektura jest nieco inna niż grecka. Specjalnie tu przyjeżdżać nie trzeba, tym bardziej, że obok jest piękny Rethymnon, ale jak już przy okazji ktoś wpadnie po drodze w góry, może się przejść po miasteczku...

Atsipopoulo is a small town in Crete Island, near one of the biggest cities on the island, Rethymnon. Till XVII c. there were Venice people living, so the architecture is a bit different than in the rest of Greece. If you want to come here intentionally, don't bother, especially, when beautiful Rethymnon is so close, but if you come by on the way into the mountains, you can take a short walk along the town...

Greek cemetaries are delightful. Graves are with glass and you can see cigaretts, photos, personal things, olive bottles... When the wind is blowing, you can only hear delicate 'bling, bling' of the galss...
