Königstein to niewielka miejscowość (ok. 3000 mieszkańców) w Szwajcarii Saksońskiej nad rzekami Łabą i Bielą. Miejscowość wspomniana była już w 1379 jako osada króla Czech, jednak potem należała już do murgrabiego Miśni. Podczas II wojny w zamku mieścił się Oflag IV-B dla oficerów wojsk alianckich. Dziś jest to piękne miasteczko z dużą atrakcją - zamkiem czeskich królów, który można zwiedzać. Nad rzeką są przystanie i pola kempingowe i dość wysokim standardzie.

Königstein is a small town (about 3000 inhabitants) in Saxon Switzerland at the banks of the Elbeand Biela rivers. City was already mentioned in 1379 as a settlement aside from King of Bohemia's castle, but then it belonged to Margrave of Meissen. During World War II in the castle there was  Oflag IV-B for Allied officers. Today it is a beautiful town with a big attraction - the castle of Czech king and Meissen Margraves, which can be visited. On the river there are landings and camping sites at a fairly high standard.
