Medvode to małe miasto (ok. 5000 mieszkańców) niedaleko Ljubljany. Założono je w 1849, czego skutkiem jest to, że nie ma tu w zasadzie zabytków, a na pewno nie są wspaniałe. Miasto jest centrum przemysłu spożywczego, odbywały się tu również mistrzostwa świata w badmingtonie.

Medvode is a small town (about 5000 inhabitants) near Lubljana. It was established in 1849, that's why there ain't no remarkable sights. It's a centre of food industry and World Championship in badmington took place here.

Stanął tu w 1603 aby upamiętnić ofiary epidemii pod koniec XVI w.
